On 1st June PES common candidate Nicolas Schmit attended the PS Portugal EU campaign rally together with PS Portugal lead candidate Marta Temido and PS Portugal Secretary General Pedro Nuno Santos in the crowded Alfândega Porto Congress Centre.
In his speech Nicolas Schmit took the commitment that if he becomes President of the European Commission, he will make affordable housing a priority for the upcoming mandate.
