On 3 May, Nicolas Schmit travelled to Cologne and Aachen, Germany.
Together with Chairman of SPD North Rhine-Westphalia and Deputy Chairman of SPD Germany Achim Post, in Cologne he visited an industrial plant and discuss reindustrialisation, competition policy and working conditions with business executives and trade unions. Following the plant visit, Nicolas Schmit attended a rally in Aachen.
