Nicolas Schmit attended a cross-border event in Schengen, Luxembourg, organised together with all the candidates of the Greater Region, including Luxembourgish Vice President of the European Parliament Marc Angel. He emphasised the importance of freedom of movement and the necessity to fully integrate Romania and Bulgaria into the Schengen Area.
