PES Common Candidate Nicolas Schmit was today in Helsinki to attend the the 4th Future Forum organised by PES sister party SDP. He has also met with trade union representatives, as workers start a two-week strike to protect the right to strike and fight for better working conditions.
Nicolas Schmit stated his unwavering support to workers and trade unions against the planned reforms of the current right and far-right government in Finland to curb the right to strike and social welfare.
