On 17 May Nicolas Schmit travelled to Gironde and Landes region in Southwestern France to campaign with PS-PP lead candidate Raphael Glücksmann.
Both candidates visited an organic farm, where they discussed the need for a sustainable agricultural policy. Then it was time to inspect an area in Gironde that was hit by very severe wildfires in 2022 and to exchange with local actors on fire prevention and civil protection.
The day ended with a campaign rally organised by PS-PP in Morcenx, gathering more than 1000 people.
